Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha is better recognized by her stage and screen names Gugu Mbatha Raw. Her popularity grew for her role in the BBC Science Fiction TV show Doctor Who. Chelsea Joy Handler, born 25 February 1975 in Livingston New Jersey, is the youngest of six children. Handler was the eldest of six kids in her family. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1989, and passed away after fighting cancer for the past ten years. Handler's dad is Jewish as was her mother. She raised up Reform Judaism. Handler resided in a beautiful area with a great family. At the age of 19 She moved into Los Angeles, California to take on a profession in acting. Handler had to turn into an actress in order to live. Handler began to do stand-up comedy full-time after she turned 21. She had discovered that she has a knack for storytelling. Handler's career began as part of the all-female Oxygen television cast on the hidden camera/practical comedy reality show Girls Behaving Unstably. Between 2002 and 2005, the show aired. Handler began appearing in other shows such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a time as a reporter. Handler got her big break in 2006, when she began hosting her own show on E! The show was named the Chelsea Handler Series. The Chelsea Handler Show ran for two years. Handler continued her stand-up career by performing in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour which was a tour which was a tour in the United States. Her stand-up performances were telecast on VH1 as well as Comedy Central's Premium Blend and HBO. In 2010, it was announced that the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were revealed. She became only the second woman ever to host the VMAs after Roseanne Bar.
